Calling all GRANDPARENTS!
For each grandparent a child brings to the Book Fair, he/she will be entered in a drawing to win 2 Free Books!
Parents, your child will be receiving a "Strive for 25" bookmark the week of September 15. This bookmark is to help and encourage your child to read 25 books on his or her reading level this year. Reading 25 books is a Georgia Performance Standard for all grades K-5. Please help your child 'Strive for 25" this year!
I graduated from Florida State University with my Masters in Library and Information Science. However, I am a Georgian. My hometown is Perry, GA, which is about 120 miles south of Atlanta. For the past 10 years I have been a PTSA volunteer, room mom, substitute teacher, and music teacher. Prior to this, I worked as a library director and librarian for 10 years in college libraries. My husband and I have been married for almost 14 years and we have four children.

This is my 4th year being a Media Specialist. Before that I was a teacher for 6 years. I grew up in New Brunswick, Canada and have lived in the Atlanta area since 2000.
