Spring Carnival

Baker's famous Spring Carnival will take place on Saturday, May 12th, from 11am-3pm. Come join your classmates, friends and teachers for loads of fun: inflatables, bungee jump, face painting, games, prizes, music and everybody's favorite---the cake walk!

We'll have delicious food for sale from Zeigler's BBQ and Kona Ice, a craft fair and the exciting basket raffle. Pre-order your wristbands today. They are only $8.00, $10.00 at the door. SpiritWear will be on clearance for only $3.00.

Last Family Night of the School Year

THURSDAY, April 12th

Don't miss our final Stevi B's family night of the school year! Due to popular demand, this month's spirit night will be held at the ACWORTH Stevi B's location (in the Best Buy shopping center on Cobb Pwky).

Please join your classmates and teachers and have some fun before our week of CRCT testing begins. Students who wear their Stevi B stickers will receive 2 FREE tokens and the class with the highest participation will win a FREE pizza party. Best of all, as our Partner in Education, Stevi B's will donate $1.00 to Baker for each meal purchased. That could add up to a lot of "dough!"

Last Box Tops Challenge of the Year!

Congratulations to our three winners of the "Blizzard of Box tops" Challenge. Check out the March newsletter to see if YOU were the winner-a $10.00 Target gift card will be coming your way.  Let's end the year with ONE more challenge: Collect your box tops and labels on the "Bubbles" collection sheet and send in to school. Valentine's BINGO is Back!

One of Baker's best-loved events, VALENTINE'S BINGO, is scheduled for Friday, February 10th. Dinner will be served at 6:30, with the fun and games to follow at 7:00. Bingo cards are $1.00 and delicious, complete meals (pasta, salad, dessert & drink) will be provided by Taste of Italy for $5.00 each. All dinner orders are prepaid only, so turn in your order by February 3rd!

Red Ribbon Week is Oct. 24th-28th

Baker will celebrate Red Ribbon Week Oct. 24th-Oct. 28th.  This initiative helps promote a healthy lifestyle and shows children they can say "NO!" to drugs and alcohol and "YES!" to healthy habits.

Our Counseling Department, our Health Teacher, Mrs. DuGan and the PTSA have teamed up to sponsor a week of FUN and EDUCATION:

Monday: "Sock it to Drugs!", wear crazy, mismatched socks

Tuesday: "Team up Against Drugs!", wear favorite team/college apparel

Wednesday: "When you are drug-free, you can dream BIG!", Dress for success as your dream career.

Thursday: "Being drug-free is no sweat!", wear sweats to school

Friday: "Your future is so bright", wear sunglasses and/or Baker spiritwear

Chick-fil-A Spirit Night

Take a break from cooking and join us Tuesday, October 25th at the Acworth Chick-fil-A (Hwy 41) from 5:30 to 7:30pm. Come with your family and friends or go through the drive-thru. Baker will receive 15% of the sales during those 2 hours, so we hope you can make it!

The Acworth Chick-fil-A supplies us with the FREE chicken sandwich coupons when you join Baker PTSA as well as discounts on food for events like Reflections and Volunteer breakfasts, so please honor them with your patronage!

Spooky Bingo is BACK!

Calling all superheroes, ghosts and princesses!

Join us for a Baker tradition, SPOOKY BINGO, on Friday, October 28th. Pre-order a yummy dinner from Barbecue Street and have the family dine at 6:00. The games begin at 6:30!

There will be a ton of prizes, a costume contest and more fun than a mummy can handle! Bingo cards are $1.00. Drinks and popcorn will be available for sale.
