Mrs. Bowling has taught at Baker Elementary for the last twenty-two years, and all have been in third grade. Prior to moving to Georgia, she taught in Ohio and in New York. In Ohio she taught fifth grade for a year before moving to New York. Here she taught special education for a year, multi-aged classes of fourth, fifth, and sixth graders for three years, second grade for one and a half years, and a remedial math lab for two years. Mrs. Bowling earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Cincinnati, and her master's degree from the State University of New York at Brockport.
During the several years that she was not teaching, she was busy raising three sons, and helping to raise three step-daughters.
Hobbies include singing in choirs or community choruses and cooking.
