We try to make second grade a fun, challenging year of learning! These are some of the ways we keep second grade challenging in our classroom:
- Ms. Aufderheide, a gifted education teacher, will come in starting in January to do Higher Level Thinking Skills with our entire class.
- In Accelerated Reader, every student will read and be tested by computer on his/her individual level - not too hard and not too easy.
- Our new math series comes with many challenging problem solving activities that encourage creative thinking.
- Students are encouraged to only accept their personal best on everything we do!
