We will have a busy first nine weeks studying the following:
Math: place value from hundredths to one million, algebra basics, multiplication and concepts of division, and data analysis
Reading/Writing: Narrative reading and writing to describe
Social Studies: basic economics, map and globe skills, and Native American cultures
Science: water cycle and weather
We will also be working on spellling skills and conventions of the English language (language arts skills).
This is only an overview of the curriculum. It is important that your child review all materials covered nightly as each subject is covered in depth with a vast amount of information.
