For the weeks of February 27th through March 16th, we will be learning all about the different kinds of pets we each have. We will talk about what kinds of pets you can find at the pet store, what kinds of noises they make, what you feed them, and where they sleep at night (cage, aquarium, dog bed, etc.). The books for this unit are I Can't Get My Turtle To Move by Elizabeth Lee O'Donnell, Snappy Little Pets by Dugald Steer, One Guinea Pig Is Not Enough by Kate Duke, Move Over Rover by Karen Beaumont, and What Pet To Get by Emma Dodd. We will have fun learning about our classroom pet finches and hamsters! Please send in the names and types of any pets you have.
