Lewis and Clark: The Great American Adventure!
This Thursday, April 2nd, our 4th grade classes will have the opportunity to listen to an amazing speaker! His name is David Ginn and he is a magician and author of over 75 books! He will be performing his Lewis and Clark show which focuses on their travels and adventures while exploring the Louisiana territory. Math News
Parent letters for math went home last Friday. I hope everyone had a chance to look over the new skills and concepts that we will be learning over the next nine weeks in math. There are also neat games and activities to play at home. So make sure you check out the parent letter in your child's homework folder.

Hi! My name is Alvina Evans. This is my third year at Baker teaching 4th grade. I have been teaching for 13 years in grades 3rd through 5th. I am a Texas native and I had the opportunity to go back to Texas this summer and visit my family. I have three children, Danny (23), Mandy (21), and Stacy (19). They were all Baker Bears! My husband's name is Chris and we have two dogs, Lola and Sammy. We added a new member to our family this summer. My son got married to a beautiful young lady named Kristen. We are so happy to have her join our family. I too, will be going to school this year! I am starting my second and final year at Kennesaw State University getting my Masters Degree in Elementary Education. Wish me luck! I lam looking forward to another amazing year at Baker!
