Parents: Do not forget that on early release days, we need to know if there is a change of transportation. All students must be picked up by 12:45, unless they are attending ASP.

Welcome to my blog. My name is Debbie Henderson and I am the first face you see when you come in the doors of Baker. I am the clerk who assist the office and I sit in the hall to help direct
you when you first enter the building. If you ever go into the office and the secretary is away from her desk, please feel free to come back out to my desk, so I can assist you.
I was born and raised in Maryland. After graduating high school, I attended an Executive Secretarial School. My first job was working for an Executive VP and 2 Asst. VP's in a major bank. After working there 10 years, I decided I had a new and more important job to attend to - and that was being a full-time mom. I lived in Maryland for almost 32 years and after the birth of my second child, we moved to Georgia. I have two children - my son Brad is 20 and my daughter Brittany is 17 and a senior at Kell High School.
I began working for Cobb County in 1999 as a Special Ed. Paraprofessional at Hayes Elementary. After 2 1/2 years, I transferred, closer to home, and joined the Baker team as their Clerk. My responsibilities include working in the front office, assisting faculity and staff when needed and doing the inventory for school textbooks and materials.
