It has been a great first week of school. We have been busy bees! We have been getting to kow each other and learning the class rules. We are working on tens and ones in math up to 30. We are learning about different ways to represent numbers. We have been concentrating on sounding out our words in our writing and writing in lower case letters except when a capital is needed. In phonics we are learning to blend words and are reviewing sounds. We are learning about syllables. In science, we are learning about different types of weather. The kids are doing great!
