Maps & Weather
We have started a unit on water and weather. We are discussing the water cycle, clouds, and the importance of water in our world. We will also be learning about weather (fronts, predictions, weather maps, etc.) Please take every opportunity at home to discuss these things with your child. You may be surprised how much they know. :)
We are also beginning our map skills unit. We will be exploring the parts of a map and learning to read physical and political maps. Take a second to look at any maps you may have at home. I will also be introducing economics. Throughout the year we will continue to talk about how economics affect our world .
Orientation
Fourth grade orientation will be held on Tuesday, August 26th at 6:45 P.M.
